Daisy My Faith, My Promise Pin and Promise Center

Girls talked about what a promise is and how important it is that we keep our word.

Girls earned the My Promise, My Faith pin, which complements existing religious recognitions and allows girls to further strengthen the connection between their faith and Girl Scouts. Once each year, a girl can earn the My Promise, My Faith pin by carefully examining the Girl Scout Law and tying it directly to tenets of her faith.  (http://www.girlscouts.org/content/dam/girlscouts-gsusa/forms-and-documents/about-girl-scouts/gs-and-faith/Faith_Handout_EnglishDescription.pdf)

Daisy Safety Pin

Girls discussed safety information they need to memorize, like their address, parents' contact information, and when to call 911.  A local police officer visited and went over age appropriate safety information.  Girls completed an "all about me" craft to help them remember important family information.
